Satdobato

Satdobato is a city situated in Lalitpur district of Nepal. This city has become a developed and modern city among the cities of Nepal. It is said that Satdobato is named for the seven junctions in this area. 'Sat' meaning seven and 'dobato' meaning junction has formed this name "Satdobato".The population has risen up presently in this city. As in other city areas, people living in this area are happy with availability of most of the facilities. Satdobato is one of the famous places of Lalitpur. It is well known for good schools and institutes. More schools are seen than offices. And a famous swimming complex is still in use. It has been organizing many programs with the local people. It has been handled by the government but many programs has made it famous. So actually Satdobato is known for the swimming complex.As it is in the Kathmandu Valley, many buildings, houses, roads and other properties are seen rapidly over the city more than plants, trees, and forests. I think no land is left for the more construction and vegetation in this area.

Satdobato are was said to be clean, fresh and green area before some years. But due to more population and modernization it has been facing the problem of lots and lots of pollution. People are concerned about this problem but are not able to control it. Many works and activities are being carried out in organized way. Despite these problems, Satdobato can be a developed and modern city among Nepal.
